Limited edition, solid sterling silver sleepers made in Italy, plated in 1.5 luscious microns of 18k gold or varnished sterling silver. They have a stud system for pierced ears only, measure 1.7cm in diameter and each earring weighs 1 gram. You can mix and match from a range of add on adornments that you can slip on and off, (please note you have to buy the adornments individually, they don´t come in pairs, only the sleepers do). Choose from freshwater pearls, 18k gold (2 micron) or sterling silver plated miniature starfish or 18k gold plated turquoise (blue), Peruvian amazonite (light greeny turquoise) or moonstone adornments (the moonstone reflects rainbow colours in certain light!) or sterling silver Peruvian amazonite (light greeny turquoise) or emerald adornments. Ibiza`s Castle, or Castell d'Eivissa in the local Catalan dialect, is up high looking down on the old fortified town Dalt Vila. Most of the castle dates back to the 16th century but excavations have found its foundations go back to the 12th Century. The Castle towers over the Mediterranean, it was once the perfect vantage point to see if an enemy was approaching, particularly pirates. In 2002 a room which had an exit to the old town was discovered. It was full of pottery, weapons and other objects from Phoenician times right up to the 13th Century. It gave historians a great insight into life on Ibiza in her early days.
