La Mezquita is Córdoba’s shining jewel, a fusion of two cultures, it is really something amazing to see in today’s world. After changing hands from the Romans to the Moors to the Christians, something quite remarkable unfolded. The Christians built their church inside the mosque to hide it from the Moors if they came back to attack again one day.
