The Foodie Pilgrim Necklace
Limited edition, handmade by Annabelle mother of pearl Camino shell with a 2 micron 18k gold plated solid sterling silver clam shell made in Madrid on gold stainless steel chain or solid sterling silver clam shell Made in Madrid on sterling silver chain. I searched high and low for a necklace with the Camino shell on it that I liked as a souvenir but had no such luck, so I decided to make my own. These necklaces measure 25cm from the back of the neck to the bottom of the charms. PRE ORDER pieces may take up to 4 weeks for delivery.
While I was doing the Camino de Santiago I met many amazing people from all over the world. I came to realise there were three types of pilgrims, nature lovers that love nothing more than to be outside hiking, the spiritual pilgrim who wasn’t necessarily Christian but looking for some big answers to big questions and then there was the foodie pilgrim, who ate and drank their way to Santiago. I was in some ways a little bit of all three but definitely mostly the foodie pilgrim. I remember each village we stayed in purely because of what we ate and what wine we drank. Galicia is like no other for your senses.
In Euros the gold necklace is valued around 55EUR and the silver necklace is around 50EUR.
